19th May, 1931.

Before leaving for Paris I wish to let you know that your portrait [10330] will be glazed and packed by Mr. Remy, from whom the frame was procured,[1] and it will be delivered to your London address next Saturday, the 23rd.

I much regret that I shall be unable to include it in my Paris Exhibition,[2] as it was still too wet to be packed with the other pictures which had to be dispatched ten days ago, and it is only to-day that it could be varnished, but I hope you will be good enough to let me have it for my next London Exhibition.

I leave to-morrow, and my address in Paris will be Hotel Majestic, Avenue Kleber, where I shall be until June 10th.

After the portrait was varnished I had it photographed by Mr. Paul Laib,[3] who does all my pictures, and he will send you a proof.
