Hockey

Another fine effort last night for the Spartan Hockey Club resulted in a convincing 10-3 win over the Balfour Bears.  The athletes displayed fine sportsmanship when the game was evidently well in hand.  The Spartans are 1-0-1 with a tie last week versus Luther.  Our next game is Monday against the Martin Monarchs as the Hamilton Arena.  

Craft Club

Start up meeting & sign up for Craft Club is Friday Sept 8th at 12 in the Art Room - come let us know what crafts and at projects you’re interested in doing this year

Craft Club will be held in the Art Room (in the downstairs T) on Mondays and Fridays at lunch. Everyone is welcome!

Coding & Robotics Club

Start up meeting & Sign up for Coding & Robotics Club is Friday at 3:16 in the Computer Lab (room 309)

We will plan some activities and try some coding games, and we’ll decide which day to hold the club after school. Everyone is welcome!

Yearbook

The Yearbook team is looking for members to come and help us build a yearbook to remember. If you like taking pictures, looking at pictures, captioning and designing layouts, yearbook is the place for you! We meet on Tuesdays afterschool in Room 102.

Yearbook is also looking for people who have an interest and talent in drawing their own comic books and graphic novels to help us design this year’s yearbook cover. If this sounds like you please stop by room 102 on Tuesdays  after school.

Wednesday we will meet in the canteen at lunch to serve pancakes. We will meet after school on Wednesday  to discuss the first part of The Hate u give.  Please see Mrs. McKillop or Ms. Bilokury if you cannot attend.

What Is Engineering 2017?

An event for Grade 12 students and their advisors to become familiar with the engineering profession. They will have an opportunity to ask questions of practicing professionals, professors and university students on a variety of subjects related to engineering and being accepted into the program.

Grade 11 and 12 students are given a taste of what it is like to be a business student. Day includes: mini-lectures by professors, as well as talks from current and former students.

Who Is Kinesiology 2017?

Grade 11 and 12 students will hear from faculty members, learn about our degree programs, certifications and community connections, explore our research labs, and engage in unique sporting experiences!
