Fouls/Penalties:

Normal Fouls: (Will result in the opposing team shooting 2 free throws)

• Stealing the ball before the half court line. This includes passes. You are allowed to steal the ball before half court within 5 seconds left in the period. The only exception to this is if the ball bounces twice. If this happens, it will be considered a loose ball and anyone can get it.

• Shooting the ball before the half court line. You are allowed to shoot the ball before half court within 5 seconds left in the period.

Technical fouls: (Will result in the opposing team shooting 2 free throws and getting the ball back, 2 technical fouls results in an automatic removal from the game)

• Arguing with the official about a foul, ruling, or basket.

• Talking in all caps because you are angry.

• Raging in the middle of the game.

• Protesting by causing a delay in the game.

• Spiking the ball against the floor making it bounce really high.

• Throwing the ball across the court for no reason whatsoever.

Special Fouls/Penalties:

• Goaltending, or obstructing a shot before it goes in will result in an automatic made shot for the opposing team.

• A delay of game penalty can be called by a ref if he/she feels you are delaying it purposely. This will result in the opposing team being given possession of the ball.

• You cannot shoot a "teardrop", aka a high arcing standing shot, on or in the center white box of the court. If shot in that area, the opposing team will be given possession of the ball and the shot will not count to your team's score.

• Trash talking another team is acceptable to a certain extent, but if it becomes excessive you will be given a warning, 2nd offense is a foul and the other team will shoot two free-throws and 3rd offense and over will result in a technical foul. This foul will count towards the team, not just a single player.

• Players can not move but can jump forward when inbounding the ball. They also can not inbound the ball off the backboard. The player will be asked to redo the inbound if either of these happen. If it happens a second time it will be considered a turnover and the other team will be given the ball.
