19. OTHER REDDITOR THEORIES

1. /u/mustangwolf1997 suggests the box cutter in {G} is the same as the one in {K}
2. /u/UrbanCobra connected the purple hands from {G} to “the thing” in {K}
3. /u/hemusK connected the red hair on “the thing” {K} with Ashley {I}. Further suggesting Ashley is “the thing” which gives birth in {G} (Here I suggest she is also the pregnant lady seen in the window in {H}. Possibly mid transformation?)
4. /u/feathersandanchors thought that “Steven transferred to Crestwater after losing his quarterback position to Derek. Switching to the rival team would explain why Derek hates Steven so much. This also explains why Steven knows who Ian is but Kaitlyn, Farrah, and Bo don't. I think he, Chad, Derek, and Tara are all from the main town in the story, and Farrah, Kaitlyn, and Bo are from the neighboring town of Crestwater. So is Ashley, and that's where Jr teaches. Also explains why in {K}eg, Farrah describes the cabin as being in the country when it seems pretty close to the setting of the rest of the chapters. 2. Vicky Q: Given that Cal Sr. & Jon are never stated to be twins, why would Cain target them? Do they look alike (excepting the chubbiness on Jon)

1. [Samirhym - I believe they are twins, their character differences follows the pattern of all the other twins (sort of opposites but not quite) but environmental factors mean they look really different.]

3. Anon: Loose ends that may or may not be tied up in the last three chapters:

1. The burning of the Mcleritin house (with Ashley inside)

1. Answered in {X}: it was burned to kill Ashley per Ian’s agreement with Cain.
2. This does raise the question of why Cain chose Ashley to be the one killed, since she’s not even from the town. In the stories so far, he’s: messed with Jr’s uncle, kidnapped Jr’s sister, had Jr’s wife & son killed, had Jr’s teen lover & their children killed… given it began before Jr was born, could there be some  unknown history between Cal Sr. & Cain or his brother that we’ve yet to learn about?
3. Well, Jr. is the twin of Greta Vassar, who is now working with Cain...maybe this has something to do with it?

2. Kaitlyn and Bo

2.  Ikaraus: Could these babies be Ashley’s? It was assumed somewhere that she had quadruplets.
3. Samirhym: Yes these were Ashley’s. Cain’s helpers got hold of three but she hid the last one in Anita’s husband’s abdomen (G)+(U), so they couldn’t complete the sacrifice/ritual (Z).

1. Not exactly wrapped up per se (unknown what happens to Tara & Tyler with their father shot, Tara matters due to Chad [could be possessed by Cain’s “brother” or his twin could be thus the importance])
2. Chad is more likely to become Cain’s host as his brother is being hosted by Stephen. Tara and Tyler are minor characters, I doubt we will see a reaction from them. It isn’t really that important.

5. Carson Reynolds??!?!?

6. Greta (sr)’s family - stealing hundreds of children?

4. Anon: On at least three instances (J, P, and W) it shows that Cain has a female partner who assists him with kidnapping children. Was Greta Jr. kidnapped to be a type of vessel for this woman or women? Greta Sr., the nurse, Greta Jr., and Becky all have brown hair (for Greta Sr. it is after her Awakening). Maybe Greta Jr. was suppose to go through an Awakening initiated by either Cain or his brother. She might in {Y}
