The decade of the 1920s was famous for many things. The words above represent some of the significant changes that occurred during the decade known as The Roaring Twenties.
Step 1: Imagine that you are writing an article about the 1920s. Choose 4 words and write a sentence that tells what was significant about that word.

Step 2: Read ‘The Roaring Twenties and the Jazz Age’ by Shahan Cheong. After studying the 1920s he wrote the article at his blogspot.

Mr. Cheong did not include all of the significant events of the 20s in his article. Although it would be impossible to include them all, some would argue that he didn’t include or highlight a few key famous events that really shaped the decade.
Explore the following websites and YouTube to discover more about this decade and the significant events that shaped it. Make a list of events that you might include in an article that Mr. Cheong didn’t and read enough information about one event that you can describe what happened in detail.
