TRANSFORMATION IS A TRANSFER OF TRUST. 

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;” Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

Are There Some Problems In Our Community? ... In Our Nation?  Do You Have Any Problems?  

How Do You Know If Your Problem Is A Trust Problem?     What really makes you angry?

• Anger Is The Impulse To Protect Something You Need Or Love From Danger.
• You Don't Trust That Something You Need Or Love Is Safe.
• Anger Is A Secondary Emotion Based On Fear Or Pain.  
• The Loss Of, Failure To Achieve, Failure To Attain, ___________, Has Made You Angry, Despondent, Depressed, Or Bitter.
• This Is Where You Are Tempted To Never Trust People Or God Again.

What Does This Have To Do With Tithing?  God Doesn’t Want My Money.  He Wants My Trust.

Proverbs 3:6 “in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (NIV)   “...direct your path.” (KJV)

TRUST IS SUBMISSION:

• Time. Talent. Treasure. Thoughts.  To Whom or What Do I Give These The Most?
• Then “That” Is Who or What I Am Trusting The Most.
• “If/Since I_____________, Then GOD Should/Will ____________.”  
• “If I Perform, Achieve, Possess, or Feel _____________, Then Acceptance, Approval, Success, and Love will finally come.  
• THIS is a FALSE TRUST in FALSE SALVATION.

In Order For God To Win Your Worship, He Has To Win Your Heart In Trust.  

There Is No Worship Without Trust.  

Trust Is Surrender.

“These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

9They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.”  Matthew 15:8, 9 (NIV)

Cultivating Real Trust Through Honest Worship:

1. Admit Your Untrusting Heart To Yourself, God, And One Other Person.
2. Ask God To Show You When, Where, And How To Take His Hand Again.
3. Release Your Expectations And Enjoy How God Sovereignly Chooses To Act In Your Life.
