Mrs. Cottrell
Fifth grade will always be a year to remember
since our challenges began in early September.
It seemed like any other ordinary weekend
but soon gave us much more to attend.
Using the wheelchair at school was not all that easy,
but you were there to calm us with all that made her queasy.
Then in January Dad’s health became an issue,
and there you stood with the next needed tissue.
With God’s help and lots of work on her part,
we made it through this year that had a rough start.
I know that it would not have turned out this well
if it wasn’t for you who picked her up when she fell.
Mrs. Cottrell, you have been our angel in disguise
and will always be special in our hearts and eyes.
