3. Check It Out!!  How To Get Schroeder Team Equipment

• We have many families new to the team, so here’s a primer on how to acquire Schroeder items:
• The custom Schroeder team caps, team warm ups and suits are ordered through Elsmore Swim Shop at certain times of the year.  Contact Elsmore for more info.
• We have structured an online Bella’s Schroeder Wear Store.  Please go to the web site and check out the clothing options.  The online store is open for three 2 week windows per year.  These are the only weeks in which orders will be taken:

a. 4/20-5/4/2015 - orders to be delivered by 5/15/15

                         b. Fall 2015 dates TBA

                         c. Early Dec. (holiday order) TBA

To make it easier for parents to receive their order, we have two delivery addresses, one for Schroeder South and one for Schroeder North.  Be sure to indicate if your shipment should go to South or North.  ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY 4/20 TO BE DELIVERED BY 5/15.

Schroeder Conference

Parents, mark your calendar for Thursday’s in May for our next round of the Schroeder Conference Program.  Remember that your swimmer may or may not be on a different team for the upcoming session:

5/7 = Red vs. White Team

5/14 = Blue vs. White Team

5/21 = Red vs. Blue Team

5/28 = Conference Championship Meet

Schroeder South

1. Welcome To All New and Returning Swimmers and Families!

We now have 140 registered Schroeder South swimmers. We’re very excited to have you and your family on our team; the coaches are looking forward to working with you and getting to know you better.

Veteran parents, please say hello to new faces in the stands - you never know where there may be another carpool possibility!  Thank you to all who continue to spread the word about our swim team.

2. What Did You Do Over Your Spring Break?

Well, Schroeder’s Denis Lazaj competed in the Albanian National Swimming Championships over his spring break from South Milwaukee High School.  He placed high enough to qualify for the Albanian National Swim Team.  His next competition representing Albania will be May 23 - 24th in Greece at the Balkan Championships.  At that meet Denis will have the opportunity to qualify for the FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia, July 24th - August 9th.

Denis also did an in depth interview on Albanian TV.  If you want to check it out, go on YouTube, enter Denis Lazaj dite e re.  It’s fun to watch, but unless you speak Albanian, you will not understand much :)

Denis and his family moved to South Milwaukee three years ago.  He’s been swimming with us for the past year.  Congratulations, Denis, and good luck at the Balkan Championships.

3. Contact Your Swimmers’ Coach Directly:

Please, please, please contact your swimmer’s coach for all questions.  Do not use the Schroeder team email for that reason, as it causes much confusion as to who answers your question or if your question was answered.  So feel free to email your child’s coach or talk to her/him before or after practice.

4. Mail Checks to Matt Miller:

5. Practices This Week:

• Schroeder South Practice Schedule

Please make sure you’re checking the schedule on a daily basis.  If practice is cancelled due to weather or other circumstance, the schedule will be updated immediately, and an email will be sent to each family.

6. Here’s The Plan for Your Spring and Summer:

The Spring Session has begun.  It will finish for the swimmers either June 5th or June 6th - 7th, depending on your child’s age.  Our 8 & Under Swimmers will complete their session with the always exciting Elmbrook All-American 8 & Under Meet on 6/5, while our 9 & Overs will compete at a meet in Menomonee Falls that first weekend of June.

The Summer Session begins Monday, June 8th, and culminates with the Second Annual Schroeder Trophy Meet on August 8th for our 14 & Under swimmers.
