Regarding the experience
What can I expect from the Garden D’Lights?
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Garden of D'Lights, a self-guided holiday light experience at the Ruth Bancroft Garden! Visitors of all ages can explore the illuminated pathways of the Garden and the dazzling display of lights that transform the diverse plant collection into a magical nighttime spectacle. From towering cacti and palms to soft succulents, the vibrant colors of light create an otherworldly experience. Enjoy what Trip Advisor recently voted “The Most Beautiful Garden in the World” in a truly different light!
This fundraising event is rain or shine. We recommend you dress warmly and bring your phone/camera as there will be lots of great photo opportunities.
Where is the experience located?
The event will take place at Ruth Bancroft Garden & Nursery located at 1552 Bancroft Road, Walnut Creek, CA, 94598
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
The exhibition will be held outdoors in the Garden.
How long does the experience last?
The visit will take around 40 to 60 minutes.
Is it COVID secure and safe?
The experience is designed to be COVID safe and is fully outdoors. You can read the safety measures here.
Is there air conditioning?
No. This event takes place outdoors.
Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
Yes.
What accessibility options do we have for someone visually impaired?
This event is not accessible for someone who is visually impaired.
Will there be strobe lights?
Yes, this event is not recommended for people with photosensitive epilepsy or sensitivity to flashing lights.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Yes, drinks will be available to purchase onsite. No food will be available.
No outside food or beverages (with the exception of water) are allowed into the Garden during this event.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted. Be sure to tag us on social media @ruthbancroftgarden
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
This is a walking event that is wheelchair accessible. There are occasional seats scattered around for those who need a rest as they walk through the 3.5-acre garden.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes.
Regarding the access to the event
No, we are an outdoor Garden and Nursery and comply with the Covid-19 restrictions set forward by Contra Costa County.
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket, but you can arrive within the next 15 minutes.
What happens if I arrive late?
We recommend arriving on time to fully enjoy Garden of D'Lights. The last entry is at 8:30 PM.
Yes, dogs are allowed if they are on a leash and friendly.
Are service dogs allowed?

Yes, the Garden is accessible, but the pathways are compacted gravel, not paved. We provide gravel-friendly wheelchairs free of charge, just ask for one when arriving.
Yes. We encourage everyone to carpool or use rideshare services like UBER or Lyft to this event as we have limited parking onsite. We sell a certain allotment of tickets per timeslot in an effort to ensure that ticket holders will be able to park onsite. Please arrive as close to your entrance time as possible to help us accommodate all patrons. We have overflow parking available to all guests at Doctor’s Park. If our onsite lot is full, please park in Doctor’s Park and walk over. Below is a map with instructions on how to get to Doctor’s Park from our parking lot. It is on the corner of Ygnacio and Walnut Ave.
What if the weather is bad?
This is a rain or shine event. If it is raining, please bring your umbrellas and rain boots! The Garden pathways are compacted gravel, so our pathways get wet, but not muddy.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Flash photography, outside alcohol, anything which may disturb the other patrons.
Are wheelchairs available to rent?
Yes, we have two wheelchairs available onsite, free of charge. These are available on a first come, first served basis.
Regarding the tickets
Tickets are non-refundable. Ticket non-refund terms and conditions are agreed to before purchase. However, under special circumstances, you can contact us and our user support team will process your request. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Can I reschedule my tickets to another date/time, or upgrade/downgrade my ticket?
We may be able to help reschedule or exchange your ticket for another date, time, or ticket type that has not already sold out. Please contact us for more information. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
What are the official sellers for this experience?
Official tickets for Garden of D’Lights can only be purchased on Fever. Tickets are not available on any other website or ticketing platform.
Can I make a Group Booking?
If you would like to book for a group, please contact us to get in touch with your preferred attendance date and the size of your group.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
