Florida State Director

The Spread The Vote Florida State Director will be responsible for the growth and management of all Florida state operations. The position will focus on expanding Spread The Vote chapters throughout the state, creating sustainable chapters, managing and supporting volunteers, and fundraising for Florida operations.

Duties

• Recruit and train new volunteers around the state
• Manage chapters
• Select, train, and manage chapter leaders
• Build partnerships
• Represent Spread The Vote in media and at public events
• Build and manage state budget
• Development
• Manage social media and communications
• Manage interns and part-time employees

Qualifications

• Grassroots organizing experience
• Deep experience in targeted communities
• Management experience
• Deep experience in the state of Florida
• Fundraising and development experience
• Experience working with volunteers
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• 20% travel, mostly in state

Benefits

• Salary- $50,000/year plus mileage and per diem when traveling for STV outside of home town
