Learn to ski or ride with us this winter!

Be a part of

Bolton Valley Resort’s

After School Program

We at Bolton Valley Resort are dedicated to making skiing and riding more accessible for all Vermont families. That’s why we offer the opportunity for local kids to get out on the slopes at a fraction of the cost. Through our After School Program (ASP), students will not only gain access to a new winter skill, they will build independence, cultivate friendships, and not to mention, have a whole lot of fun!

Our program consists of two sessions (session 1 Dec- Feb, session 2 Feb-Mar) each session runs over the course of 5 evenings. Usually transportation is arranged by your school or recreation department. Students can choose to enroll in lessons, rent equipment or just get lift tickets all at a special ASP rate. We also offer special skiing days and discounts for family members to come along.

This program has made a real difference in the lives of so many of its participants. See what one parent have to say:

The Bolton after-school sessions were a great addition to the year for our older son, who has been participating for 2 years and will probably do 2 more. He has gone from shy and reticent to having a close group of friends who adventure together (even if sometimes he only tells us after the fact!). With few winter activities available, this was a great way for him to keep active and have fun all winter. He talked it up so much that the younger son now wants to participate next winter. What a great opportunity for Vermont kids, thanks Bolton Valley!” –Peggy Watson

Please let your principal know that you are interested in having your school participate in Bolton Valley Resort’s After School Program. And feel free to contact me with any questions, for more information, or if you would like to arrange an in-school presentation about the ASP program.

Thank you, and enjoy your summer!

Vermont Youth Dancers to Present

A Better Place, A Twist on Oliver

Vermont Youth Dancers (VYD) will present A Better Place, A Twist on Oliver at Mount Mansfield Union High School on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., and on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.

Vermont Youth Dancers put a modern spin on the classic story Oliver Twist. Through dance and popular music, VYD performs the uplifting tale of Oliver and her orphan friends. As the kids struggle with street life and scoundrels, they learn who to trust and how to love, hoping to find a better place where they will truly belong.

VYD delights audiences with their unique blend of electrifying hip-hop and graceful lyrical choreography, with song choices that help “tell” the story. This year’s cast of 45 includes dozens of local talented dancers from Jericho, Colchester, Underhill, Hinesburg, Essex, South Burlington, Williston, and Fletcher, and many Jericho Elementary School students will be performing!

VYD honors the work of Lund with this year’s show. Tickets are available online for $8 (vyd-oliver.eventbrite.com or vermontyouthdancers.org).
