Museum Program Guidelines
Passes are free to adult cardholders in good standing who are also Warminster or Ivyland residents, Warminster Township employees, or members of the Friends of the Warminster Library.
Other adults with a Bucks County library card in good standing are not eligible for the free status, however may checkout a pass for a $5 fee.
Passes may only be reserved by phone or in person for pick up the same day. If you need to cancel, please call as soon as possible, so that the pass will be made available to others.
Passes are on a first-come, first-served basis and are available for checkout for a 3-day loan period and are non-renewable. If a pass is checked out on a Friday, it will be due the coming Monday. Only one pass per household may be checked out at a time. The Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle are the only exception to the one pass per household rule. When available, a household can check out two passes for the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle. Patrons may not request the same pass more than three times in a calendar year.
Passes must be picked up and returned in person to the Information Services desk at the Warminster Township Free Library and may not be placed in the drop box. If placed in the drop box, a $5.00 fine will be charged.
A late fee of $5.00 per day with a maximum late fee of $25.00 will apply. If a pass is lost, the borrower will be charged the cost of a new pass which varies according to the museum/attraction.
The library will make a reasonable attempt to contact and notify patrons of overdue status. Unanswered attempts will result in immediate collection action and loss of borrowing privileges until resolved.
Borrowers are responsible for calling the museum directly for hours of operation, parking, or directions.
The pass may not provide admission to all exhibits at the museum. Borrowers are advised to have a backup plan in case the museum is unexpectedly closed, or if a museum pass is not returned on time. The library is not responsible in case any of these things happen.
