Voice Tools Student: Listening to Podcasts Moodle ISU

Introduction

Blackboard Collaborate Podcaster allows teachers to author voice recordings and distribute the *.mp3 files via syndication feeds. All *.mp3 files are hosted on the Wimba Voice Tools server, which also automatically creates the Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed. Users can play messages directly within Moodle, download the audio from the feed, or subscribe using their preferred RSS reader such as iTunes.

  2. In your Dashboard, Click your course.
  3. Select the Podcast from the main course page.

Note: A Voice Podcaster pop-up window will appear and you will be asked to run the application. If this window does not appear, you may need to disable the pop-up blocker in your browser. For instructions, see Voice Tools Student: Troubleshooting Voice Tools.
