Congratulations to all of our 2025 Science Fair Participants! The following projects will advance to the regional competition:

- 2nd Place: "Which is the Worst Beverage for Your Teeth?" by Henry
- 3rd Place: "Cleanliness of a Dog’s Mouth" by Mara & Kali
- Honorable Mentions: “Soccer Project” by Nate & Charlie, “T1D Positivity” by Sylvia, and “What’s a Plant’s Favorite Color” by Katie, Katie, & Emmaline.

New 4th & 5th Grade AIG Nominations - Due Jan 20th

Pieces of Gold - Wednesday, March 5th - Tickets on Sale Jan 21st
The Barton Pond Chorus has been selected (for the third year running!) to perform in the WCPSS 2025 Pieces of Gold performance on March 5th. Tickets will be available to the public on Ticketmaster on January 21st.
You can support our students and the event by purchasing flowers, t-shirts, a congratulatory program ad, or by becoming a sponsor. This event showcases over 1,000 WCPSS students and draws an audience of 3,000+. Learn more in this flyer or contact Lee Posey Pike at Lpike@unitedarts.org for details.

Girls on the Run (3rd-5th) - Starts the Week of Feb 24th
