Google Drive is not a new concept for me; I have been using it for about four years.  From the time I was a senior in high school until now, I have used Drive to collaborate with classmates on group projects, organize family functions on a who-brings-what basis, and keep track of my own life from budgeting to scheduling.  Drive is excellent for making sure my boss knows my current semester’s schedule by updating my classes and availability and sending him the new link.  There are so many things Google Drive can do that ordinary desktop applications like Microsoft Office simply cannot accomplish easily.  That is not to say that Google Drive could replace Microsoft Office by any means, but it is certainly a helpful additional tool.
