Activity 4.2 - Four Freedoms Forum

Look at pictures of Norman Rockwell's Four Freedoms paintings. Norman Rockwell’s paintings were published during World War II in the Saturday Evening Post in 1943. During World War II democracies around the world, including the United States, were being threatened by dictatorships. The painting themes are based on President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s State of the Union Address in 1941. He believed that there were “fundamental freedoms” everyone in the world should have.
