Much revered and dear Friend!

My warmest thanks for your kind lines promising a joyful reunion. To inform you about here I will give you a snapshot of the current circumstances. H.H. the Fürst is in [illegible] and will stay there until the end of the month, present is Princess Auguste Victoria who is expected to be here until the 15 July and will then in July go to Fürstin Trani. You will however find Her Royal Highness the Fürstin Infantin here whatever the circumstances

She will stay here for the whole summer. I can promise you that I am often worried about her state of health particularly after the last attack, which was repeated last November, and it may well be that she has to be left in peace for a year depending on her condition. She was very pleased when I announced your visit and asked me to send you greetings and to invite you to stay here in the palace.

You know those rooms next to mine. Now that I have delivered my mission I would ask you most politely to fulfil your kind intention to come here. You write that you intend to stay in St. Blasius until the 10th July and I therefore surmise that you [illegible] 8th, 9th or 10th or 11th July or during the time between the 10th and the 15th July will come here. This is wonderful and I am looking forward

to it immensely. Indeed I know that all the others are very pleased about your visit too, particularly Princess Auguste Victoria.

Therefore please send me a short message when and at what time you will arrive here so I can collect you from the train. If the time after the 10th July does not suit you, come before the 10th July.
