IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

• Taco Thursday NEEDS YOU! Please consider performing for TTE. If you have an idea, please run it by Mr. Jon and practice at break times, so that Mr. Jon can see what you will do and give you advice on how to improve it for the enjoyment of all! Sign Up for Taco Thursday 
• Library is starting to pack up. You will be unable to borrow anymore library books this week. Please return books that you do have by Thursday.
• Monday 25th May - Ms. Melinda’s Exhibition Class goes to Secondary for Transition Day
• Thursday 28th May - Ms. Emily’s Exhibition Class goes to Secondary for Transition Day
• Wednesday 27th May - Grade 4/5 Market Day
• Friday 29th May: After School Programme finishes
• Tuesday 2nd June: Grade 5 Transition Ceremony.

• Grade Four please wear PE kit
• Grade Five please wear smart casual.

• Thursday 4th June: Elementary Assembly

Are you ready for market-day?

Practice your 1 minute product speech that you will present to all the grade 4/5’s on Wednesday!

Math - Revision

1) It’s time to revisit a lot of the things you have learnt this semester we have covered fractions, money, word problems, measurement, geometry, volume, area, perimeter...

2) Use IXL or Mathletics or Front Row to help you practice. Write down any questions you struggle with and bring them to school. We will share questions that are difficult and how to reach answers.

Writing - Joke Time!

1) Sometimes the last week of school can be a little sad, so learn some jokes to share with the class.

EXAMPLE

“Why should you wear glasses when doing math?

It improves division.”

Reading - Responses

1) You will read a book of your choice for 20 + minutes each day at home. Log the book into your reading log on Biblionasium.

2) Holiday reading. Add books you have enjoyed this year to the holiday reading list.

Oral Practice

1) We have to learn two songs by Tuesday 4th June. Practice them at home. Ms. Leigh has sent both of the songs to you.
