I enclose a certificate about yr. vaccination –
I do hope the arm will soon be quite mended, such a long time as it has taken!
Has the parcel arrived safely, & did it contain all your “forgets”?
I see you & Stef[1] are not together in a study – but you will meet constantly & perhaps next term you can be together.
I was delighted to hear they

had got his [remove?] into the science [side?]. It is interesting to hear that the form he is in, was formed entirely for the pur–pose of working up for the School Certificate exam.
The earlier you start working hard for an exam, the more chances there are you to pass with flying colours!
I had a wire from Dads, that he has arrived in Amsterdam.[2]
John[3] began school the day after you left – He is very proud of the sports coat he received being a senior – you remember that black kind edged with bright blue ribbon?
I hope you’ve succeeded in getting yr. Ration card – we have not got it.
