Purpose

Alternate ACCESS 2.0  for ELLs is the assessment administered to English learners who received special education services and meet the participation guidelines in order to measure progress toward meeting Minnesota’s standards for English language development.

Current Use of Data

• Inform classroom teaching and learning.

• Assess student knowledge and skills relative to the respective EL and  MN academic standards.
• Inform curriculum review needs/priorities.
• Inform staff development needs/priorities..
