We watched a documentary in class about how William shatner changed the world the show was made in 2005 by Discovery Channel Canada .  It was about star trek too.  Some of the things it talked about was the phone, and the computer how they changed over the years and how star trek helped changed them.  

        Star trek help make the mobile phone because they was using something like it in the documentary we seen in class.  The first mobile phone was 40oz the phones these days are 4 and under oz. It was based off the communicator.  Since then i think the mobile phone was a great idea to the world  because you can get ahold of people from all over the world.

        Star trek also help make the computer, when the computer came out in the 50s and 60s they was a huge now these days there alot smaller.  The first computers were made by apple and microsoft.

        In the newer star trek they started the music that they could down load it on the computer and put in on cds or mp3s.  It was a great idea that they came up with that because you can listen to your favorite music anywhere you want.
