Accounting, a basic fundamental for all businesses, is an excellent background for any career and is required for students who will have business-related college majors. Students learn concepts of double-entry accounting as well as banking, taxes, payroll procedures, and personal finances, and record-keeping. Accounting is a practical application of math. Computerized accounting will be introduced at various points throughout the year.
