Fresh Spinach Dip (Source: Adapted from sixsistersstuff.com)
Ingredients:
16 ounces sour cream
8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
4 cups chopped fresh spinach (washed and dried before chopping)
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 tablespoons red onion chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
Directions:
Beat sour cream and cream cheese with and electric mixer until blended. Add the onion soup mix, red onion, and garlic and mix together. When all ingredients are well blended, fold in the chopped spinach. Cover and put in the refrigerator. It is best to make the dip a few hours before serving so that the flavors have time to blend together.
