Restorative NorthTas News - 4 September 2015
1. Share your story?
One of the reasons for having an group email list is for members to be able to encourage and support each other. And one of the best ways to do that is to share your Restorative story.

Hope to hear from you and your team soon (feel free to give me a call on 0408 465 305). You could well be under-estimating what you are achieving!!!
2. Check out this site
Restorative Works Learning Network is one of the great online sites, especially for those who work with children and young adults. It is well worth visiting regularly and you can subscribe to their Newsletter (recommended).
3. Restorative NorthTas online
This week I posted an article about Restorative Social and Emotional Learning. Hope you find it useful.
As well as responding restoratively when things go wrong, we need to reduce the actual need for Restorative Practices if we can.
One of the best ways to do this is to take everyday opportunities for social and emotional learning.
Social and emotional learning is the key to reducing problems.
And don't forget our Facebook site - this week it includes items from around the world.
Unfortunately there we Australians don't publish much online or locally about what we are doing with Restorative Practices.
