"Mustangs,

Metea Key Club in cooperation with the City of Aurora and the City of Houston are collecting school supplies to assist the children of Houston.  Many people forget that school started for all students in the City of Houston on September 11th.  One of the biggest struggles from Hurricane Harvey is that students will not have the necessary school supplies.  We are collecting just about every kind of school supplies to assist students and teachers as they bring some normalcy to their lives.  This is a great opportunity to show some Metea Mustang pride and help others.

Collections can be dropped off during school hours in the boxes in the Metea foyer by the main office.  The collection runs from September 11th through the 22nd.  For more information or for other ways to assist, please see the Houston Independent School District website: http://www.houstonisd.org/harvey"
