How to Apply

Basic Requirements:

MS: 2800 (subject to change)

  • The MS requirement will go up as time passes simply because lower MS players deal less damage to bosses than higher level players. When comparing Player A (MS1000) and Player B (MS2500), even if player A gets in 25 attacks, that’s only equivalent to 10 of Player B’s.

I can and will make exceptions for various people on a case by case basis

CQ: 21 attacks per week

  • Think about it this way, 2 bosses, 2 attacks each, 5 times a week is already 20 attacks. You can usually get 3 attacks per boss in if you time it right as we still take a bit over an hour to take down bosses. However, our bosses do not last for longer than 1h30m.

BoS: Required unless MS3000+.

Language: English preferred, but willing to make exceptions for players in Asia (for nighttime CQs).

Include a screenshot of your “Career Stats” page located in “Stats” at the top of your heroes tab.

Extra info you can provide:

Equipment: If you have good equipment or specific artifacts that you know will let you progress at a fast rate, it doesn’t hurt to let me know as I take everything into consideration. Potential rate of growth of a player is a factor I take into account.

Past clan(s): Where were you before you applied?

Exceptions:

  • BoS ownership makes MS less relevant. Depending on what your MS is right now, I might accept you if you have a very high CQ count. However, the absolute lowest I’m willing to go is 1800. This is because BoS owners have a much higher rate of progression than non-owners, so it’s for “the long run”.
  • Extremely high CQ attacks & Clan activity. If you’re on top of things and are constantly pumping out high CQ counts, you have a much better chance of getting in. We also have a discord to notify others of CQ attacks and talk about random things.

Ranking System

TL;DR: (but really, you should read it all)

  1. Everyone starts out as a recruit
  2. Being a Knight is just a safety net
  3. Being a Master could mean 2 different things. Read on.

Recruits - Welcome to TTM!

If you’re a recruit this means you’re either a newcomer or at a potential risk of getting kicked (probation). No, this does not mean I will bring down the banhammer on you guys after you end the week with 20 CQ instead of our minimum 21, this means you are at risk.

The way I will kick people is pretty simple.

  1. Be away for 3 days without telling me and I’ll assume you’ve quit this game
  2. Your CQ is abysmally low and/or your MS has stagnated
  3. Your behavior in chat is unacceptable

But I will NOT kick without a warning unless the reason is glaringly obvious. I will make it so that players getting kicked should not have to wonder why they are getting kicked.

Knights - What if I’m super active?

Achieving Knight Status

Well you’re in luck, because the Knight status is available for super active players. You can move up to becoming a knight if you can fulfill the following conditions:

  1. You managed to get 36 CQ in a week
  1. An example would be 2 bosses, 3 attacks each, 6 times a week
  1. Your MS is above our minimum to join (since I do make exceptions sometimes)

Pretty simple, right? There are a ton of players that will earn this title through regular play since there are many naturally active players in our clan.

Maintaining Knight Status

To maintain the title, simply:

  1. Absolute minimum of 21 attacks/week
  2. Keep your MS above our minimum by the end of the week

Most players that earn it once, will keep it.

Masters - So what’s a Master?

Being a Master could mean 2 things. A next level security net or an active assistant that helps out with management and general clan duties like helping me keep track of inactives.

In order to become a master to earn yourself a badge of honor (or another layer of security):

  1. Be among the top attackers in the clan
  2. Be in the top 50% of the clan’s rankings (position 1-25)

To volunteer yourself to help me with keeping track of the clan:

  1. Be among the top attackers in the clan
  2. Be active in discord (you should be online for most of the day)
  3. Message me with the days of week you’re available, I will appoint you as a discord mod.

For my 2-3 volunteers I am only seeking very active players that wouldn’t mind sacrificing a bit of time every other day to help.

Note I will not have more than 7 masters at any given time including assistants

I will only ask for 2-3 assistants as coordinating with larger groups can prove to be difficult for time restrictive activities like this.

Absences

By the nature of this system, this also means that Knights are basically safe from low CQ for a week. HOWEVER, I do want knights and recruits to give me an explanation before they disappear. While recruits are kicked for 3 days of inactivity, I will allow Knights 4 days of inactivity before demoting them to recruits and kicking them 3 days afterwards for a total of 7 days.

This is the safety net I was talking about.

Ranking Spread

My rough estimate on the population divide will be

1 GM (2%), 7 Masters (14%), 28 Knights (56%), 14 recruits (28%)

And I think that’s a pretty good set of numbers. I may adjust Knight requirements to maintain this ratio, but this will happen no more than twice a month unless something very unexpected happens (mass accidental teapotting, servers glitch out and clan gets emptied somehow, giant meteor strikes the Earth, etc).
