Bradford Talks Speaker Brief

Objective:

Using local speakers to share original ideas and provoke new ways of thinking through stories, impacting the audience and the community in a positive way.

Location and Timings

• The event takes place upstairs at the Dandy Lion pub in BoA on the fourth Wednesday of every month
• The event starts at 1900 with your talk starting at 1930 so please arrive in plenty of time

Speaking Guidelines:

• Your talk must be based on a story
• Your talk should share a novel idea or promote new thinking
• Ideally your presentation should be a mix of talk and Q&A session
• Slides are not permitted / available
• Selling or promotion is not permitted
• Talk length must be between 15 and 30 minutes
• Q&A length must be between 15 and 30 minutes

What We Need From You:

Interested in speaking? Please complete this form which asks for:

1. A talk title (with optional tagline)
2. A little info about the talk
3. Brief speaker bio (approx 100 words) submitted 14 days prior to the event
4. Oh and please spread the word of your talk, the more the merrier :-)
