HEAD START - WALKTHROUGH

Version (FINAL) September 8th

QUICK SUMMARY:

• You will be leveling a Character up till the first farm (lvl 10) and you will be Portalled to Two Crowns or Marianople to place your it. You will continue doing the Story Quests till you have enough Gilda’s to place your Small House(s) or Farmhouse.

• You will start on your second character to grab a 2nd farm and perhaps even more small house(s), a clipper or a Farmhouse. 

We have chosen for this approach since on paper it can be done so much more efficiently for big groups but in reality we are not able to pull that off. Too many people have too many different goals. This way we Capture farmland for all who will be attending, and those who do not show up are on their own. If you want to live in a different area, please make plans how to get there yourselves.

The Only flaw is this version is we are as fast as the slowest Quester or Runner.

Before the event we will do the following:

• Join up in Teamspeak in channel ‘HEAD START’ on
  FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th 17:00 (CEST)

• We will present TWO RUNNERS (The persons who will portal us): The RUNNERS will make sure to get Two Crowns and Marianople for their Teleport books.

• Make Teams of 3 (or 4) People (Based on LOCATION where you want to live and RACE) and appoint a CAPTAIN that will give status reports throughout the game.
  
• CAPTAINS, if you have your teams ready go to Runners (Registration) and report which portals you will need to have for your team, ALSO report at the runner if you do NOT want to use any of the portals provided.
  
• CAPTAINS, make sure to be a party leader throughout the event so we can easily invite you to RAIDS if necessary. You must be up to date of your party’s progress.

What to do when you missed the RUNNER’S portal?:

You are kinda on your own. Since the Runner may only open a certain amount of portals.

If you missed the first transport to Two Crowns or Marianople, find someone who did and is able to transport you.

How to place your farms?:

Place your farm at the “designated” spot in such a fashion that there’s a lot of room open in between the plots but NOT as open that someone else can place another farm in between.

IMPORTANT:

• Do exactly as the Guide says!
• Don’t spend any LP except on your Coinpurses.
• Don’t spend money,  it’s about getting money from Quests!
• Sell your stuff from your inventory regularly.
• Decide what you want in advance (amount of houses, clippers etc)
• Decide if you want to live in Two Crowns, Marianople or anywhere else.

---- EVENT START ----

1. Create Character (Use a premade! Save the Character settings in advance or change your character afterwards in the Beauty Salon)

1. Log on
2. Create your TEAM

Do all quests till the town of WARDTON (or SYLVAN DEVI for Elves).

2. AT WARDTON (or SYLVAN DEVI):
   Send VALENCE 10 silver. - 16 mins has passed

Breed your mount. Continue following the Questline till you arrive at LACTON (or SPYWATCH CAMP).

3. AT LACTON (or SPYWATCH CAMP):
   Take the quests there and finish them. (Humans: Don’t do go into Blackreath Castle). After you have done them continue doing the STORY QUESTS only till you arrive in WINDSHADE.
   
4. AT WINDSHADE,

1. Deliver the STORY LINE QUEST
2. Set your Recall Point in the center of Town
3. Grab the [BLUE SALTS BROTHERHOOD] Quests till you have the small farm.
4. Go to the nearest Nui Priestess, South of Winshade.
   (Follow the Road SW behind the Hill and get the Gilda Star and 50 Silver!!)
5. Run to the NORTH SIDE of Town to the Seed- Sapling Merchants.
6. Sell your stuff, open Coinpurses you should have at least 1g20s.
   (Devide money if nessecary or try to get 1g12s if not possible).
7. BUY 4x Olive Trees + 7x Chick = 1g20s (Or buy 6 chicks if it’s not possible)

NOTE: If you have already decided you only want 1 Cottage you may want to consider to do Point 8-9 First and then place you stuff all at once.

5. CAPTAINS: Make sure everyone is on the same level!

1. If your group wants to live in TWO CROWNS or MARIANOPLE contact the runner and tell him where you need to go!
   Meet the RUNNERS at the designated spot and be portalled. (You may have to wait).
   
   
   (Meeting spot Windshade: In front of the house of Jane and Rilla)
   Opposite the Public Garden, the middle tallest house. We’ll hide the portals inside)
   
2. If your group wants to live elsewhere, Run there!
   

6. AT ARRIVAL in:

1. TWO CROWNS: 
   Make sure you have the Recall Point for your book!
   PLACE: your farm (10 LP) at the “designated” spot in such a fashion that there’s a lot of room open in between the plots but NOT as open that someone else can place another farm in between.
   
   
   
2. MARIANOPLE:
   Make sure you have the Recall Point for your book!
   PLACE: your farm (10 LP) at the “designated” spot in such a fashion that there’s a lot of room open in between the plots but NOT as open that someone else can place another farm in between.
   
   
   
   
3. At any other desired location:
   PLACE: your farm (10 LP) at the “designated” spot in such a fashion that there’s a lot of room open in between the plots but NOT as open that someone else can place another farm in between.
   

7. PLANT: 
   4x Olive Trees and 7x Chick (or 6x Chick).

KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR FARM TIMER SCHEDULE WHICH STARTED FROM THE
MOMENT YOU PLANTED THE FIRST SEEDS ON YOUR FARM.

8.  RECALL TO WINDSHADE and continue doing the STORY QUESTS (Green Quests)
   
9. AT OLD PINE, you have 15 Gilda Stars. Your follow up quest will be in WINDSHADE. Run there or make a PORTAL to save time.
   (This is also a moment to place your Cottage if you have decided to place only 1)
   
10. If you want 2 or 3 small houses to conquer a bigger spot or just a Farmhouse/Clipper. Continue the STORYLINE QUESTS till you have 30 or 45 (Small houses) or 50 Gilda stars (Farmhouse/Clipper). Buy your stuff at Mirage Island and place it at the desired location by making a portal. Leave you Character at the Small Farm.
    
    WARNING: TO PLACE EXTRA HOUSES IS ONLY POSSIBLE IF YOU CAN BUY LP POTIONS OR BUY CERTIFICATES FROM THE SHOP.
    
11. ---- RELOG TO CHARACTER SCREEN  ----
    
12. Create SECOND Character (RINSE AND REPEAT)

1. Log on
2. Create your TEAM

Do all quests till the town of WARDTON (or SYLVAN DEVI).

13. AT WARDTON (or SYLVAN DEVI):
    Send VALENCE 10 silver.
    
    Get your mount and continue following the Questline till you arrive at LACTON (or SPYWATCH CAMP).

14. AT LACTON (or SPYWATCH CAMP):
    Take the quests there and finish them. (Don’t do Blackreath Keep Quests). After you have done them continue doing the STORY QUESTS only till you arrive in WINDSHADE.
    
15. AT WINDSHADE,

7. BUY 6x Grapevine + 14x Azalea + 6x Gosling = 1g03s
   TAKE at least 20x Water from well.
   

16. CAPTAINS: Make sure everyone is on the same level!

1. If your group wants to live in TWO CROWNS or MARIANOPLE contact the runner and tell him where you need to go!
   Meet the RUNNER at the designated spot and be portalled. (You may have to wait).
2. If your group wants to live elsewhere, Run there!
   

17. AT ARRIVAL in:

1. TWO CROWNS:

2. MARIANOPLE:
   Make sure you have the Recall Point for your book!
   PLACE: your farm (10 LP) at the “designated” spot as before.
   
3. At ANY OTHER desired location:
   PLACE: your farm (10 LP) at the “designated” spot in as before.
   

18. PLANT: 
    6x Grapevine + 7x Azalea + 6x Gosling and water them!
    
    APPROX. 1 HOUR HAS PASSED.

19. RECALL TO WINDSHADE and continue doing the STORY QUESTS (Green Quests)

21. If you want 2 or 3 small houses to conquer a bigger spot or just a Farmhouse/Clipper. Continue the STORYLINE QUESTS till you have 30 or 45 (small houses) or 50 Gilda stars (Farmhouse/Clipper). Buy your stuff at Mirage Island and place it at the desired location by making a portal.
    NOTE: Harvest 7x Azalea and Replace with 7x Azalea after 20 mins. Make sure one of your characters stays at the farm.

22. ALL LAND HAS BEEN CAPTURED! START LEVELING, GET MATERIALS, MAKE ANOTHER CHAR, but keep enough LP and money for keeping you FARM up and going!

EXTRA INFORMATION:
After 18 hours there will be a Guild Clipper ready to bring members to Austera. You don’t need to rush your first Clipper. In return the skipper will ask you to donate: 30 LOGS (approx. 3 trees).
These Logs will be used for Guild Progression.
