Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of August 27, 2024 through September 2, 2024

August 28th, 2024 - Warrant Arrest - On August 28th, a St. Clair County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on North Highway 13th, on a motorcycle, for no registration. Upon making contact, the driver was identified as Juan Lozano, and was found to have outstanding warrants from three different agencies. Mr. Lazano was arrested and transported to St. Clair County Jail for the following charges: Pettis County - Failure to Appear - Bond of $325.00 cash only; Henry County - Failure to Appear - Bond of $500 cash or surety; Bolivar PD - Failure to Appear - Bond of $50.

August 30th, 2024 - Warrant Arrest - On August 30th, St. Clair County Deputies arrested Richard Kirkham at the Algoa DOC Jefferson City facility, on a St. Clair County Warrant for two cases. The warrant included charges of Stealing, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest, and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia. The bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety for each, with a total of $30,000 cash or surety. Kirkham was transported to the St. Clair County Jail.

August 30th, 2024 - Warrant Arrest - On August 30th, St. Clair County Deputies worked alongside Missouri State Highway Patrol and Camden County Jail to arrest Gary Herring on a St. Clair County Warrant. Upon Herring being delivered to the St. Clair County Jail by Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Clair County Deputies served him with a warrant for the following charges: DWI - Habitual - Felony; Bond - $50,000 cash only.

August 31st, 2024 - Warrant Arrest - On August 31st, a St. Clair County Deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle that Magdalena Mallette was the driver of, on Westbound 54 Highway for Speeding. Upon making contact with Mallette, it was revealed that she had a warrant out of Cedar County for Failure to Appear with a bond of $250 cash only. Mallette was transferred to the St. Clair County Jail.

August 31st, 2024 - Fight at the Rodeo - On August 31st, St. Clair County Deputies were patrolling the Rodeo Grounds, and were notified of an assault/fight. Two adult males had become physical after a verbal altercation regarding one individual standing “in the way’ of the other’s mother. Reports were taken of all available witnesses, both adult males involved, and an investigation is ongoing.

September 1st, 2024 - Property Damage in Appleton City - On September 1st, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a call for service on NW Highway B, in Appleton City. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Toni Baker, who stated that during the hours of 10:00 - 11:00 AM, September 1st, it was noticed that several long scratches were embedded into their Chevy Malibu vehicle. The scratches extended from the back of the vehicle to the front, and photographs were taken for the report. A suspect was also named, and the investigation is ongoing.


September 2nd, 2024 - Property Damage in Appleton City - On September 2nd, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to a walk in report at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office in regards to damage done to a vehicle. Upon making contact with the victim, Tory Horne, the Deputy was notified that during the night of September 1st to September 2nd morning, a long scratch from one side of the hood to the other was embedded on her 2018 Ford Fusion. This occurred on 4th Street, in Appleton City. A report was taken and forwarded to Appleton City Police Department.
