Sleeth Gallery presents: NMC 10 Video Programme

A celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the New Media Caucus, a College Art Association affiliate society

BUCKHANNON, WV — January 21 – February 6, 2014 — The Sleeth Gallery will be hosting the New Media Caucus 10 Video Programme as part of its national exhibition tour. An opening screening of the program in its entirety will be held from 4:30 – 6:00pm on Thursday, January 23, 2014. The exhibition will be on display Monday through Friday from 12:00 – 5:00pm, or by appointment, and is located on the first floor of McCuskey Hall at West Virginia Wesleyan College, at the intersection of East Main Street and College Avenue in Buckhannon, WV. Admission is free.

NMC 10 Video Programme is a juried exhibition comprised of an exciting array of innovative video works by the NMC membership, completed in the last 10 years.

The New Media Caucus is an international non-profit association formed to promote the development and understanding of new media art. The NMC represents artists, designers, practitioners, historians, theoreticians, educators, students, scholars, and researchers, as well as like-minded organizations with interests including, but not limited to, digital media, electronic media, mobile media, virtual media, and emergent media. Our purpose is to support and advance a diverse range of inquiry in order to catalyze further evolution of the field of new media art.
