Dearest Pauli,
I would have loved a sight of you, & a good hug before you went north! Johnie[1] tells me you have got so tall! Dads[2] & I got the photos nicely put on my table, with yr notes. Dads says they are “beautiful”. I think the kitchen one is just splendid.
Well, on the 12th we look forward to see you & our dear Stef,[3] & that will be soon now. I was over at 3 F.J.[4] today, with John & Rhoda, bringing over luggage. It looks nice. You will have the room you want with [illegible].
