The Freedom High School Advanced Placement Music Theory summer assignment focuses on strengthening the foundation of the individuals musicianship.  Some students will find these exercises very easy, while others find it very challenging.  The student’s experience will be directly related to their background in reading music.  The entire year will be based on these critical skills. Below, you will find three topics, each with multiple exercises attached.  With each topic, links have been provided to cover the content, in case it is new material.

Submission Directions

After you have met the criteria of the exercise, click on the  in the upper right hand corner. Click on “Show Progress Report”. Enter your name, then click “Sign Report”.  Copy the verification code and submit using the google form below. Submit your exercise codes at: http://submit.APMTonline.com. You MUST be signed into your OCPS google account to submit.

Checking Your Submissions

Visit http://check.APMTonline.com. Type your student id number into the shaded box. Press your enter key. The sheet will update -  showing you information, including time and date of your submission. You MUST be signed into your OCPS google account to access the checking system..
