01  How to commission

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Step 1. Read the pricing, payment methods, turnaround time and terms in this document.

Step 2. Gather your ideas, text, links, characters, PNGs, and visual references. A Pinterest board or Google Drive folder is especially helpful.

Step 3. Contact me through my listed commission contact method (tiktok or discord dm), or open a private ticket in my Discord server if you use Discord.

Step 4. Send a description of your order. You can copy the request form in Section 08 or write naturally, as long as you include the important details.

Step 5. I will review the request, ask any necessary questions, and confirm the price, payment method, and estimated turnaround time.

Step 6. Only send payment after I explicitly accept your commission. Once payment or the agreed art-trade arrangement is confirmed, I will place your order in the queue.

References and PNGs

I HIGHLY recommend a Pinterest board or Google Drive folder. Please include any PNGs you specifically want used. If you do not have assets ready, I can look for them myself, but this may add preparation time.

You can mix references: “I like the layout from this page, the colors from that one, and the decorations from another.” References guide my design; I will not directly copy someone else’s complete layout.

02  Prices and custom quotes

These are starting guidelines, not rigid packages. Complexity, number of pages, and special features may change the quote. For example, two very simple pages might qualify for a custom price rather than a full multi-page package. Please ask if none of the listed options fit.

Cash payment bonuses

♡ $5 — optional free doodle

♡ $8 — one optional extra page, or a free doodle instead

♡ $12 — one optional extra page, or a free doodle instead

♡ $15 — one or two optional extra pages, or a free doodle instead

♡ $20+ — two optional extra pages, or a free doodle instead

Doodles are created by my artist friend (@hopelessyearning). You can request an OC or favorite character, but the exact pose/style is a surprise. Additional pages are optional. Bonuses are thank-you extras and do not have a separate cash value.

Money payments may receive priority when I organize NEW openings, but I will not repeatedly push back already accepted orders to make room for new cash-paying clients.

Steam payments

I may accept games from my wishlist, other agreed games, and Steam gift cards. I generally compare offers using regular game prices rather than temporary discounts. Ask before purchasing; gifts must be compatible with my Steam account and region. A $5 Steam gift card is specifically accepted for the $5 tier.

Adopt Me pets and items

Pet and item values change, so I evaluate offers individually based on current demand, my wishlist, and the requested Strawpage tier. Some wishlist pets may be listed as auto-accepts. An auto-accept is my personal offer preference, not a claim about an official cash exchange value.

Other pets and items are welcome as offers.

04  Art trade equivalents and policies

If paying with artwork, choose an option below or suggest an equivalent alternative. These are guidelines: character design complexity, number of characters, shading, rendering, and the Strawpage requested all matter. I may request samples of your art before accepting.

Fairness and acceptance

I genuinely appreciate art trades and do not expect professional-level art. However, a Strawpage can take days or weeks, so I look for a reasonable match in effort, care, complexity, and quality. I may decline any art offer without implying that the artist’s work is bad. If an offer is simpler, we can discuss a smaller Strawpage.

I do not accept traced, AI-generated, heavily copied, or unauthorized-base artwork presented as original work. Please send examples of your previous artwork when offering a trade.

When the artwork is due

We can work on our sides of the trade simultaneously. The completed Strawpage will not be fully transferred or finalized until the agreed artwork is complete. If you need more time, please communicate with me. We will agree on the trade and queue placement before work begins.

Personal merch permission

Please tell me whether I may make personal, noncommercial merchandise from the artwork, such as pins or standees for myself. Choose Yes, No, or Yes with an additional agreed benefit. Saying no is completely fine. Any other use of the artwork should follow the permissions we agree on.

You may reference multiple examples and request a custom mix of layouts, colors, or decorations. Please do not copy, redistribute, or claim my original designs as your own.

06  Turnaround time and rush orders

♡ Simple/single-page: approximately 1–2 weeks

♡ Most commissions: approximately 2–4 weeks

♡ Large or highly complex commissions: one month or longer

These are estimates, not guaranteed deadlines unless we agree on a specific date in advance. My workload, current queue, number of pages, PNG preparation, research, school/exams, personal circumstances and phone/device limitations can affect timing.

Rush requests

Rush orders may be accepted for an additional fee, depending on the requested deadline, complexity, pages, payment method and current queue. Please ask before paying. For example, a $15 heavily decorated 3–5 page order needed within one week might add roughly $4–$6+ in cash; this is an illustration, not a fixed quote. I may decline a deadline I cannot realistically meet.

Updates and pauses

I will try to share progress updates and notify you of significant delays. Respectful check-ins are welcome. If I am waiting for your references, text, approval or another necessary response, the commission may be paused; waiting time is not counted toward my working TAT.

07  Terms of service

Please read before commissioning. By placing an accepted order, you agree to the following policies. They are intended to keep the process fair and comfortable for both parties.

Queue and confirmation

Simply asking about an order or sending a DM does not reserve a spot. Your place is confirmed after we agree on the commission, I accept it, and the agreed payment or trade arrangement is confirmed. I generally work in confirmation order, one at a time or in small batches. If you disappear before completing an agreed payment, I may offer the slot to someone else. Do not pay before acceptance.

Communication and inactivity

I am a student, so replies may sometimes be slow. You may respectfully request updates, but repeated demands, harassment, guilt-tripping or excessive rushing are not acceptable. Please tell me if you need extra time or change plans. If I need a response from you, work may pause; prolonged inactivity may mean I work on other orders and reschedule yours when you return.

Your materials and information

Please provide references, characters, links, usernames, text, and other requested assets as clearly as possible. Check spelling and accuracy. Tell me about must-have and do-not-include elements before work begins. I am not responsible for errors already present in client-provided text or links, though I can help correct them through revisions.

Art payment and trade fairness

I reserve the right to accept or decline artwork offers. No traced, unauthorized-base, AI-generated or heavily copied artwork presented as original. Trades should be fair in effort and complexity. We may work at the same time, but I will not fully finalize/transfer the Strawpage before the agreed art is finished. Personal merch permissions must be discussed separately.

Revisions and creative freedom

Small revisions such as colors, text, decorations, PNG swaps or layout adjustments are generally fine. Major changes after substantial work, or excessive changes to already approved details, may cost extra or be declined. I will discuss any additional fee before making changes. Unless instructions are very specific, I may use creative judgment to create a cohesive design.

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds depend on payment type and work completed. If you cancel before work begins, I can generally return reversible payments when reasonably possible. Once work has begun, a partial refund may apply based on completed work. If I must cancel, I will discuss an appropriate refund or resolution. Robux and game/item transfers may be difficult to reverse. Completed artwork and redeemed Steam gifts cannot simply be undone, so those cases are handled individually. Payment platform rules and applicable consumer rights still apply.

Personal and commercial use

Personal and commercial use of the finished Strawpage are included in the base price: personal/OC pages, portfolios, commission pages, businesses, shops and promotions. Tell me about business use so I can plan the layout. Commercial use of your finished page does not transfer authorship of my original layout or allow you to resell it as a template.

Editing, creator credit and redistribution

After completion and payment, you may edit your copy: move elements, add/remove pages, change images or text, and update links. Please keep my creator credit somewhere on the page; I normally place it unobtrusively at the bottom. If its placement causes a problem, ask about an alternative. Do not claim my original design as yours, resell or distribute copies of the layout, or package it as a reusable template without permission.

References and copying

Taking inspiration from existing Strawpages, Carrd layouts, websites and graphics is fine. I will use references to understand the style and may combine ideas, but I generally will not recreate another person’s entire page exactly. Discuss highly specific reference requests with me first.

Portfolio display and privacy

Unless you request otherwise, I may show screenshots, previews or links to your finished Strawpage in my portfolio. If the commission is private, a surprise, includes personal information, or you simply prefer no public display, tell me. You do not need to provide a reason.

Right to decline

I may decline requests I am uncomfortable with or cannot reasonably complete. If I have already accepted payment and then cannot finish, I will communicate with you and follow the applicable cancellation/refund arrangement.

Final note

Please ask questions before payment if any part of the commission is unclear. Custom requests are welcome, and I would rather clarify expectations in advance than leave either person confused.
