Poem
The pillars stand separate.
The lanterns on the top
Do not glow.
There are birds in the sky
Picture painted pink on blue.
The silhouettes are silent.
The abundant roses are splayed,
Rusting out, flung from the bowl,
Decay in droves.
And you, in your painting clothes
Sleep without rest,
On the top of the bedspread.
I occupy the porch in the twilight.
