Our Father, who art in heaven

(something blooms in my chest)

Hallowed be thy name

(the sensation moves downward all the way to my toes)

Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done

(my lungs expand)

on Earth as it is in heaven

(my head is filled)

Give us this day our daily bread

(awareness shifts to my gut)

And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us

(attention goes to my shoulders and upper back)

Lead us not into temptation

(I notice my hips)

but deliver us from evil

(I notice my hands)

For thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory forever.  Amen

(the prayer comes to rest under my breastbone)
