Promotions & Demotions
The process is simple, every 2-4 weeks supervisors + will meet to decide who is most deserving of a promotion or demotion and we will proceed to argue at each level for each agent within the FBI.
You can be promoted from your Performance, Activity, Organization & things that fall in that category.
Poor job performance: If an agent consistently fails to meet the expectations of their role, their supervisor may decide to demote them to a position that better suits their skills and abilities.
Violation of company policies: If an agent violates department policies or engages in misconduct, they may be demoted as a form of disciplinary action.
Organizational restructuring: During times of restructuring or downsizing, an agent’s position may be eliminated, and they may be offered a demotion as an alternative to termination.
Personal reasons: An agent may request a demotion due to personal reasons such as health issues or a desire to reduce work responsibilities.
(Of course you can always request an LOA via ticket BUT your position isn’t guaranteed to be held)
Lack of qualifications: If an agent is promoted to a position for which they do not possess the necessary qualifications, they may be demoted to a more suitable role.
Conflict with Co-Workers or Superiors: If an agent is involved in ongoing conflicts with their co-works or superiors that cannot be resolved, they may be demoted to a different position to minimize workplace tension.
