Position begins immediately and is not benefit eligible. This position is eligible for up to 28 hours per week with a negotiable work day and will end December 15th, 2016.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for assisting with day to day operations of the student life and

athletic offices. Duties include developing processes and systems for productive and efficient

office operations. The specialist will maintain confidential data and interact with community

members, students and college staff and faculty. Responsibility for management of the

fitness room is part of the duties. The specialist will produce athletic schedules and season

passes, complete and process game contracts, officials’ contracts and game day worker

contracts. This position will manage student-athlete insurance claims and processing.

Duties will include requests for checks and purchases and reconciling monthly statements

for college purchasing cards. The specialist will prepare packets for student-athletes and

assist in athletic and student life events. This person will be directly involved with all day

to day operations of an athletic department and additional duties, such as social media

management, are possible depending upon the qualifications and interests of the person

selected.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate Degree or equivalent.

SALARY

Salary range begins at $9.00 per hour.
