DCHS Yearbook Senior Portrait Requirements
Senior portraits are due by February 14, 2023. See link to submit photo below.
→ If you are ready to submit your portrait, PLEASE name the file to include the student’s name and student id!
(example: Doe_Jane_123456.jpg).
→ To submit your photo, use this link. Choose your best one.
High resolution photos only (at least 300 ppi). Photos should be in JPEG format.
→If you do not submit a senior photo, your school portrait will be used (if you took one.)

If you haven’t taken your senior portrait yet, we offer you an opportunity to have your yearbook photo taken on campus by a Publications photographer by appointment. Cost is only $20 (payable to DCHS Publications). Click here for info.

We want the portraits in the senior section to convey a sense of dignity and consistency, so please be tasteful with the yearbook portrait.
Make sure the photo meets the following requirements:
– Follows school dress code.
– No inappropriately sheer, tight, short, or revealing clothing.
– No halter tops, strapless dresses or tube tops.
– Waist-up pose ONLY– no head-and-shoulder or full body poses for the yearbook.
– Senior is facing the camera with both eyes visible.
– No props (no animals, costumes, hats, sunglasses, cars, weapons, sports equipment, musical instruments, foreign objects or additional people).
– Color photos only – no black & white or sepia. No soft focus. No vignettes.

– Photo should be at least 4 inches wide x 6 inches tall (we’ll reduce to wallet size).
– Head size should be 2 inches to 2.5 inches (or 1 inch measured from bridge of nose to bottom of chin) in order to maintain consistency within the senior portrait section.
– If you don’t know how to make the photo fit the above sizes, don’t worry. . . just send us the full photo and let us do the work.
