The place where I live

Is in Papatoetoe.  It has a shop near our house.  Some kids like Sophie, Khiano and other people from our school live near me and we play a lot.  We live like maybe 60 seconds drive to countdown so it's a little bit near our house.  Sometimes my family and I go shopping at Papatoetoe or get my next store neighbour's son’s haircut there.  I shop at Hunters Plaza just to get my aunty some fancy clothes for Tonga.  I like kmart and Hunters Plaza because you can find lots of cool clothes and pretty shoes you like there. At the night markets, my family and I eat there. I normally eat butter chicken and sweets.  At Papatoetoe Pools, which our school goes to every Monday, it is so cool because you get to learn how to do some new free styles so that you know how to swim on the deep side and how to call for help when you drown.

Our school has gone from old to new but sometimes it’s really annoying when you go up the hill on the path and how it was wide but now it is skinny when a lot of people are stuck together and little ones get squashed by big kids.  At Papatoetoe there’s a train station where people go to school, work and university and if you want to visit some new places.  In papatoetoe when we get to the other side of the road,  we use the crossing traffic lights so that the kids don’t go running on the road and so they don’t get crashed. At Papatoetoe my cousin and I go to the library to  read and sometimes to take one book home and read the whole thing before we bring it  back. Every time my family and I go to church, we go past Holy cross church next to Holy cross school.

The place where I live is a great place for me to grow up because I have very good memories.IMG_3989.JPG
