10th April, 1930.
Many thanks for your letter of March 29th.[1] My wife and I both missed your presence very much at the Private View of The Royal Society of British Artists[2] but hope that, when you and Mrs Sant come up to London, you will be able to visit the Exhibition. We shall also much look forward to the pleasure of seeing you both before long in your own home in Surrey where we shall see your father’s works. I am afraid we shall have to await this pleasure as we shall be spending only a few days in the country during Easter, but shall hope to visit you during the summer holidays.
When you come to town please do not forget to call and see us. We often recall our delightful time at Costebelle and the
Pleasant hours in your company.
With kindest regards to Mrs. Sant and yourself, | Believe me, | Yours sincerely,
