I wish to acknowledge with thanks your letter of the 15th Nov.^[1] which reached me here where I am taking ^enjoying a few weeks rest ^little holiday.

It gave me great satisfaction to learn, that the Board of the National Museum of Modern Art at Madrid, accepted in such a charming way. ^with cordiality my offer of ^the portraits... of His Majesty The King [12400], & that of Her Majesty The Queen [12398] ^which I have the honour to offer on the [occasion?] of The [Jubilli?] 25th [Jub?] anniversary of His Majestys [sic] reign.
