Cat Hat
Row 1: ch 6 in a magic circle
Row 2: sc 1 in each st
Row 3: sc 2 in each st
Row 4: sc 2, sc 1, repeat
Row 5: sc 2, sc 1, sc 1
Row 6: sc 2, sc 1, sc 1, sc 1
Row 7: tr in each st
Row 8: sc 1 in each st
Row 9: tr in each st
Row 10: sc 1, dec 1, repeat*
trim and knot
If hat is too small instead sc 1, sc 1, dec 1, repeat
Pompom
Wrap yarn around three fingers 10 times
Cut top and bottom of yarn, now you have several strands of yarn.
Cut a 2 inch piece of yarn and use this to tie together yarn strands and knot the Pom Pom to the top of hat.
Optional: Add strings to sides so hat ties on gently.
Scarf
Beginning: Ch to desired length slightly bigger than neck
Do not twist, straighten ss together
Row 1: tr in top loop
Row 2: sc 1 in each st
Row 3: sc 3, ss in 3rd ch, repeat.
Trim and tie ends in bow
Good to know: Natural yarn fibers such as cotton and wool scraps can be put outside for birds to use in their nests! This is helpful when you have yarn scraps you don’t have a use for.
