Enduring Understandings: Students will understand how to use the elements of design and visual literacy to create a photomontage which communicates an emotion, social issue, or subject of their choice. Students will implement the use of photoshop in a creative manner that looks sophisticated and surrealistic in nature. Image must be well blended without looking obviously cut and paste, smooth transitions and an area of emphasis are expected.
Learning Targets:
- Students will demonstrate smooth blends and transitions using photoshop blend tools.
- Students will demonstrate how to communicate through the visual arts using the rules of composition.
- Students will demonstrate how to use photoshop tools to develop and later flatten layers.
