1 Star Prestige  

(Must satisfy 2 of these conditions)

  • The extracurricular activity has a local impact and has a limited impact on the community
  • The extracurricular activity is easy for other students to do in large volumes OR it has been done by many students in the past
  • The extracurricular activity is for a local company or a small college/university
  • The extracurricular activity does not really connect to a specific field of interest and focuses on individual participation rather than extensive teamwork.
  • The extracurricular activity requires limited participation  
  • The extracurricular activity's impact is felt by the participant rather than the broader community.
  • The activity does not require a competitive selection process to join.
  • The extracurricular activity does not require leadership responsibilities or initiative from the student.
  • The extracurricular activity does not result in any tangible products or outcomes beyond personal experience.
  • The activity does not require collaboration with professionals or experts in any field.

2 Star Prestige  

(Must satisfy 4 of these conditions)

  • The extracurricular activity has a regional impact, extending beyond the local community but not reaching state, national, or international levels.
  • The activity requires some specialized skills or knowledge, making it less common but still accessible to a significant number of students.
  • The extracurricular activity is associated with a mid-sized organization, regional company, or state college/university.
  • The activity involves some teamwork and collaboration but doesn't require extensive coordination among large groups.
  • The extracurricular activity demands moderate time commitment (e.g., weekly involvement over several months).
  • The activity's impact extends to a defined group beyond the participant, such as a school club or local organization.
  • There is a selection process for participation, but it's not highly competitive.
  • The extracurricular activity involves taking on minor leadership roles or showing some initiative in specific tasks.
  • The activity results in some tangible outcomes or products, such as a performance, a report, or a small-scale event.
  • The extracurricular activity involves occasional interaction with professionals or experts in a relevant field.

3 Star Prestige  

(Must satisfy 6 of these conditions)

  • The activity has a state-wide or multi-regional impact.
  • The extracurricular activity requires significant skill or knowledge, making it accessible to a smaller pool of students.
  • The activity is associated with a well-known state-wide organization or a large university.
  • It involves substantial teamwork and coordination among diverse groups.
  • The activity demands a large time commitment (e.g., several hours weekly in the school year).
  • The impact of the activity extends to a broader community beyond the school or local area.
  • There is a competitive selection process for participation and tangible outcomes.
  • The activity involves taking on significant leadership roles or showing considerable initiative.
  • The activity involves regular interaction with professionals or experts in the field.

4 Star Prestige  

(Must satisfy 7-8 of these conditions)

  • The extracurricular activity has a national impact or recognition.
  • It requires advanced skills or knowledge, making it accessible only to a small percentage of students.
  • The activity is associated with a nationally recognized organization or top-tier university.
  • It involves leading and coordinating large teams or multiple groups.
  • The activity demands an extensive time commitment, potentially including summers or school breaks.
  • The impact of the activity is felt on a national scale or benefits a large, diverse community.
  • There is a highly competitive selection process, often at a national level.
  • The activity involves taking on executive leadership roles or initiating significant projects.
  • It results in substantial tangible outcomes that have wider recognition or application.
  • The activity involves collaboration with renowned professionals or experts in the field.

5 Star Prestige 

(Must satisfy 8-9 of these conditions)

  • The extracurricular activity has international impact or recognition.
  • It requires exceptional skills or knowledge, placing the student among the top performers in their age group nationally or internationally.
  • The activity is associated with world-renowned organizations or institutions.
  • It involves leading complex, multi-faceted projects or initiatives with far-reaching effects.
  • The activity demands an extraordinary time commitment, potentially spanning multiple years.
  • The impact of the activity is felt on an international scale or addresses global challenges.
  • There is an extremely selective process, often involving international competition.
  • The activity involves pioneering new initiatives or making significant contributions to the field.
  • It results in groundbreaking outcomes that advance knowledge or practice in the field.
  • The activity involves collaboration with world-class experts or leaders in the field.
