Preface

As previously mentioned on Twitter, online support plays quite a large role in the show.

There are two separate events that we have to vote in for Yanan.

DOKI ranking in Tencent Video app (More important)
Weibo Online Popularity Ranking

Tencent DOKI

Search and download 腾讯视频 on App Store or Google Play Store. It should look like this! (If both of those aren’t available you can find the APK file here.)

Before you click into it, you need either a QQ account or a WeChat account. I think WeChat is easier to sign up for as you only need your phone number. Downloading WeChat is pretty straightforward, and once you’ve set that up you can move on to the next step!
After you click into 腾讯视频, it’ll ask you whether you want to sign in with QQ or WeChat. Click on the green icon.

Once you’re logged in, along the bottom bar there should be a heart with doki on it. Click onto that.
Search for “闫桉” and then click onto his profile

You should see this screen (but the buttons will be orange now), and click on the second button.

The first orange button “加注” is to vote for him, and after you join the second button will turn into ‘check in’. Each regular user gets 2 votes per day, and VIP users get 4 votes per day.

Before you can vote, it’ll ask you to confirm you’re not a bot by sending a confirmation code to your phone number. You’ll only need to do this once. Click on “加注” and something like the picture below should pop up.

Select your country code from the drop down menu, and enter your phone number. When you’re done click the text circled in red. This will send a confirmation code to your phone via SMS. When you receive the code, input it in. Click the orange button when you’re done.

If you can’t find your country code, download the textPlus app (available on both Apple and Android) to get an American number and use that instead for the one-time confirmation code.

After that you should see this screen.

The highest amount of votes you have should be automatically selected, just click the orange button again to send the votes. After voting, the screen will change to this.

Weibo Voting

Winner of the Online Popularity ranking each week gets time to promote themselves at the end of the credits the following week. Essentially, solo-camera time!

The points accumulate from each Friday 18:00 CST to next Thursday 18:00. After that, it resets again for the next episode.

You do need a Weibo account in order to vote. Signing up is pretty straightforward.
Once you have one, log-in. And scan the QR code below.

You scan it by clicking on the square box on the top right corner.

If you’re using the international version of Weibo. The scanner is located under “Me”
Once you scan the code, it’ll take you to this page. Scroll down to find Yanan and then click the button circled in red.

When you see a tick on the screen, you’ve successfully voted!
You can vote 10 times a day, but there is a 10min cool-down before you click again.
