Student Bulletin

Attention all students: Administration would like to notify you that any students who have 5 or more tardies or period absences or a combination of the two within a week timeline, can possibly be placed on a no-go list for upcoming activities. Please ensure that you are going to class on time.

Just a reminder, students are to exit through the east and west lots of the school. Students are not permitted to exit campus through the office.

Students: For your safety, please use the pedestrian gate to enter the east lot; do not walk through the gate where cars are entering the lot.

If you need a temporary bus pass please see Ms. Ocampo in the V..P. Office before school or during your lunch time.  

Please do not enter through the Counseling Office to the front to leave campus when the bell rings after school. You must exit through the sides of the campus.

Attention Cowboys! Homecoming is right around the corner along with our homecoming rally! If you would like to show your talent at the rally, please stop by E9 and sign up. There will be a sign up sheet at the door.

*Hello Cowboys Yearbook time is here. Don't forget to buy your yearbook! This years’ book is only $80 if purchased on or before October 15th, 90$ if purchased before December 15th, and $100 any time after December 16th. Your $40 purchase includes the hardcover book and DVD version of the yearbook with additional pages not normally included in the Yearbook such as Prom and Graduation along with additional hundreds of photos not shown in the Yearbook.

ALSO: Seniors don’t forget to reserve your own senior page to mark your place here as Cajon High school. Senior Pages can be purchased for $60 for a full page or $30 dollars for half a page. Reserve your book now while you can because they’re going fast! Go to the ASB bookkeeper to purchase or reserve your yearbook now.

There will be a MANDATORY ILLMATIC meeting on Monday September 26th at 3:00 in room E-26. We'll be finalizing information for the BELIEVE WALK on October 2nd. See you there!

Seniors, UC Berkeley is visiting Cajon next Monday! If you would like to attend their presentation, please see Mr. Yu in C35 during lunch or after school

Cajon Speech & Debate News:

Novice Senators Brandon M. and Frankie M., Varsity Senators Tatiana Eden O. and Cassie V., and Presiding Officer Evan T. all made powerhouse. Varsity Senator Damayanti R. earned a 7th place Varsity Congress medallion, Novice Senators Amy E. and Emmanuel H. earned  7th place and 6th place Novice Congress medallions, and Presiding Officer Jorge R. won a 1st place gavel at our League Debate Opener  this past weekend!

National Forensics League Speech and Debate Honor Society advancements:

Emmanuel H., Brandon M., Emily A., Frankie M., and Joseph S. fulfilled the 25 point Degree of Merit to become our newest members of the Honor Society. Congratulations!

Hocus and pocus cause you know we do the mostest! Homecoming tickets are now on sale…A Night in Salem, Saturday October 15…you must have a permission slip AND student ID to purchase your ticket! Please see Ms. Heather in the VP office for your permission slip AND cowboys, guest passes ARE available!

Attention all clubs and athletic teams, it is time to start nominating your kings and queens for homecoming! A half sheet of paper will be delivered to club advisors and coaches this week. Please make sure it's returned to E9 by today, September 23rd.

Have you lost your school ID? Sign up for a replacement in the library – before school, after school or your lunch time.  You may pick up your replacement ID the following school day – before school or after school only.  Remember – there is a 24 hour turn around, so please plan accordingly. You need a student ID to purchase tickets to events.

As a reminder, YOU MUST have a parking permit to park in the student lot. Any student without a permit will not be allowed to park in the east lot. See Ms. Vanessa in the VP office if you have any questions.
