We are Blacking Out Drugs today! So what is Red Ribbon week? It is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. Show your personal commitment to a drug-free lifestyle through the symbol of the Red Ribbon. The Key to your Dreams doesn’t Involve Drugs! With Tuesday’s theme, we will have sweet dreams of the successes we will have while living drug free life. Show that you respect yourself enough to be drug free by wearing your school appropriate pajamas tomorrow.

Tuesday, October 24, 2017:

Today, GJHS students are showing that we are holding the Key to our Dreams by living a drug free life! There is a continuing tradition of displaying Red Ribbons as a symbol of intolerance towards the use of drugs. The mission of the Red Ribbon Campaign is to present a unified and visible commitment towards the creation of a drug free America. GJHS students are doing their part to support this mission by respecting ourselves enough to be drug free. On Wednesday, we are going to show that Drugs are Old School and out of fashion by wearing 1980s era clothing.

Wednesday, October 25, 2017:

Besides participating in activities at school, we are asking all students to take the Red Ribbon message home and share it with their families and friends. Today we are showing that drugs are out of fashion with our Old School 80s attire! We have committed to Teaming Up Against Drugs, all students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite sports team’s apparel on Friday to show that we respect ourselves enough to be drug free.

Friday, October 27, 2017:

GJHS has joined communities all over America this week in celebrating the National Red Ribbon Campaign.  Students who commit to living a drug free lifestyle are more likely to be successful in school and act as lifelong contributors to their community.  The Future is Key, So Stay Drug Free! Thanks to all who teamed up today to show that we respect ourselves enough to be drug free.

Wrestling information is in the tower outside the main office.  Pre-season conditioning will begin on November 2nd.  If you did not participate in a fall sport you will need a physical before official practice begins on December 4th.
