Q: Will the detox deplete minerals from my body?

Q: Is the PBX detox a parasite cleanse?
The PBX detox helps remove heavy metals and environmental toxins from the body, with that being said, many people experience parasites begin to pass simply because detoxing with zeolite disrupts what parasites use to hide from the immune system & thrive in the body (toxic heavy metals). Consider adding in a parasite cleanse 1x per year (instructions for parasite cleanses are typically stated on the parasite cleanse bottle)
Q: Are there any side effects?
There are no “side effects”. Clinoptilolite zeolite is a natural mineral. As the body starts to remove the toxins & heavy metals some people may experience what is referred to as healing reactions as the body begins to heal itself. There is a lot of information online about “detox healing symptoms” available. Not everyone experiences these however they can happen. Some include increase in bowel movements, mild flu like symptoms, irritability, minor skin changes (as our skin is the largest detox organ). Q: What should I do if I experience detox healing symptoms?
If detox healing symptoms occur, ensure you are staying hydrated. You may lower the dose given at one time but it is recommended to still use 3x per day as the zeolite leaves the body in about 5 hours after it is given. Adding an additional binder such as the Fulvic Minerals may help with any healing reactions.
Q: Is this detox FDA approved?

Q: Can I use the detox while pregnant/ nursing?
There have been extensive animal studies on the safety of natural zeolites throughout every gestation of life. Many holistic minded midwives recommend PBX zeolite. PBX binds to the toxins and carries them outside and inside the structure so they are harmless and inert. They leave through urine, bowels & sweat and will not redistribute or stay in the body.
Q: Do you have to follow a specific diet during the detox?
Ideally, you want to be drinking plenty of water and sticking to organic whole foods, avoiding excess sugar, dairy, gluten, and folic acid (especially if you have an MTHFR mutation). If a child has a very restricted diet, the detox will still do its job, however as time passes try to slowly implement these dietary changes if possible.
Q: If my child won’t take the spray and drops directly in their mouth can I add them to a drink?
Yes, but add to a small enough amount for the child to drink it mostly all at once so the 3x a day dosing can still be achieved.
Q: Does the detox have a taste?
Both the spray and the drops are tasteless. The drops have a cloudy color and have a slightly different texture than the spray (both are liquid).
Q: What if I can’t fit in dosing 3x a day or I am unable to give it every single day (because of school, split custody, etc)
Be as consistent as you can, if you can’t give 3x a day 2x a day is ok as well, if there are days that the child needs to stop and then resume that is also ok. The zeolite works while in the body and leaves the body in about 5 hours.
Q: How long will it take to see results from the detox?
Everyone's toxin load is very different, factors include toxins passed down in utero, which toxins are present, how much of each toxin is in the body, where it is being stored, and what toxin may be the root cause for issues at hand. This makes everyones detox experience very unique. Some see changes in a few weeks, others report back significant changes around the 3 to 4 month mark.
Q: What will happen after I stop giving/taking the detox if gains were seen during the detox?
Every toxin that is removed from the body during the detox, is gone, your body has passed it. With that being said, we are exposed to many elements of toxicity (some in our control, some out of our control), and as we know this is a constant. So when re-exposure occurs, especially when an MTHFR mutation is present, toxins have the opportunity to start to build back up in the body. This should be taken into consideration and is why many choose to continue the detox on a low dose daily regimen after they complete 6 months of full dosing.
Q: Do I need to test for toxicity before I take this detox?
Testing for toxins is a personal choice, the majority of people going into the detox do not do any prior testing based on the simple fact that due to the world we live in, toxicity is unavoidable and we all have toxins in our body to some degree.
Q: How is this different from the TRS detox spray?
PBX is Natural Clinoptilolite Zeolite. TRS is synthetic. PBX has over 300 PubMed studies to support safety. TRS Synthetic zeolite has NO studies to date to support safety. TRS has weaker bonds which in high acidic stomachs can break the cages redistributing the captured toxins and heavy metals. PBX has stronger bonds that would take over 800 degrees to break the bond.
Q: Can I take the detox if I am currently taking medications/other supplements?
PBX is biologically inert and does not interfere with medications or supplements as long as they do not contain heavy metals. Medications usually do not contain heavy metals as an active ingredient. Medications that may contain heavy metals should be taken 5 hours apart.
Q: Can I take the detox if I have amalgams/ hip replacements etc?
Yes. Zeolite is biologically inert in the metabolic pathways and will not pull from amalgams or hip replacements etc.
