- A car not on the race track must reenter safely, gain no advantage, and must not interfere with a car that is properly on track.
- It is prohibited to drive a car in the opposite direction of the race except to remove it from a dangerous situation when the driver has a clear line of sight.

- Any competitor that is late the false grid (3 minutes prior to grid release) will go to the back of the grid

- Starting position, Point Scoring and MiataCon Champion
- Qualifying times will determine position for Race 1
- Race 1 starting position based on fastest time recorded in Qualifying
- In the event of identical lap times, the 2nd fastest lap time will decide starting position
- Following Race 1, one point will be awarded for each finishing position (eg, Winner receives 1 point, runner up awarded 2 points, 3rd place awarded 3 points, continuing to the final finisher.)
- Race 2 starting position will be determined by the lowest point scorer in Qualifying Race 1 (eg, 4th place finisher in Qualifying Race 1 scored 4 points. That driver will begin Race 2 in fourth position, continuing to the final finisher of Qualifying Race 2.)
- Final Race starting position will be determined by the lowest combined points of Race 1 and Race 2. In the event of a tie, the driver with the best finishing position in Race 2 will be awarded the position. The same process will be applied in the event of other multiple equal point scorers.

- Once lined up in the false grid, the SCDA will pick a false grid spot at random. That car will start on Pole Position, and each car following that car will file onto the track until there are no more cars behind in sequential order. Example: Spot 18 is chosen at random. That car will start on Pole Position, followed by 19, 20, 21 etc until cycling through position 17 as the final position on track. The start will be single file following a pace car for 2 laps to assure the field is in the proper position.
- The race timer will continue to run despite any race interruptions
- Only the Overall podium will be awarded trophies and prizes. Cars from all classes may enter.
- One pit stop is required with driver change optional. The same driver may elect to get out of the car and then re enter for the second stint or stay in the car during the pit stop. Additional driver changes may be permitted with permission from the organizer. There may be more than two drivers per car
- Pit Window for Driver Changes OPENS 25 minutes into the race and closes with 30 minutes to go.
- The pits will be closed during full course yellow or black flags. Drivers already in the pits may complete their driver change pit stop if a full course yellow or black flag comes out.
- If the driver change has not been started before the 45 minute mark, and the pit lane is closed for a full course caution, the driver change must be started within two laps of the resumption of green flag racing.
- When entering the pits for a DRIVER Change stop, all drivers must come to a complete, safe stop at their assigned Pit Box
- You must have a 5 minute lap (or longer) on official timing for the lap before or after you cross the start/finish line WHILE in the pits for your driver change. A one lap penalty plus an additional one lap penalty for every 60 seconds below the minimum pit stop lap time will apply if your pit stop lap is less than 5 minutes.

- If your pit stall is located after the start/finish line, then your 5 minute pit stop lap will start the lap you cross the start/finish while in the pits. Your pit stop lap will be completed as soon as you cross the start/finish line on track the lap you exit the pits.
