EXCEPTION to weight limits:

 A first year player at the 80lb, 95lb, and 110lb weight classes (a 7year old, a 9 year old, and an 11yearold respectively) is allowed a 5lb addition to the weight class.  Example: A 9 year old player who does NOT make the 95.9 weight can weigh as much a 100.9.  This player will be designated by the league, and play JV ONLY football from end to end on the offense and/or defense.

 

                Any player that is overweight for the weight class that his/her age dictates can play up at the next level and be given an additional 10lbs. These players are to be designated as JV ONLY players.

                Example: A 5 or 6yr old too heavy for the 65lb team can play at the 80lb level and be as much as 90lbs.

                Example: A 7 or 8yr old who is too heavy to play 80lb football can move up to the 95lb team and be as much as 105lbs. (the additional 10lbs)

                Example: A 9 or 10yr old too heavy for the 95lb team can move up to the 110lb team and be as much as 120lbs.

 

                JV ONLY football players must play from end to end on the offense and/or defense and is not eligible to play varsity at any time during the season.
